Factor Building Wifi

Please know that your concerns about Wi-Fi in the building have been discussed by SON leadership and escalated for assessment by our IT colleagues. Adrian Finemel, UHIT Director of Networking, has thoroughly assessed the functionality of network access in the auditorium on the A level, as well as throughout the building.  He has also spoken with faculty and Program Directors to understand the nature of concerns and followed up to assess those concerns.
 
At this time, he certifies that there are no gaps in coverage in any of our learning spaces in the Factor Building. Every classroom is fully equipped with Wi-Fi access that is available, stable, and sufficient to meet the needs of all 640 of our School of Nursing students. 
 
In the event you experience WIFI issues in Winter 2023, please email dgitnoc@mednet.ucla.edu with a detailed description of the issue including the area/room in question with a contact number and a technician will contact you. Plan for in-person learning and testing in compliance with UCLA expectations.
